AMC BARITE™ is a high quality barium sulphate (BaSO4) micronized to meet API 13A specifications and is used to increase mud density in all types of drilling fluid systems, oil or water based.
AMC BARITE™ is chemically inert to all drilling fluids additives and is used to increase the density of any drilling fluid system. AMC BARITE™ is added to a mud system to help control formation pressures, stabilise the borehole or used in kill fluids.
AMC BARITE™ is added through a mud hopper or suitable shearing device. The amount of AMC BARITE™ required to increase the fluid density can be calculated using the following formulas:
AMC BARITE, kg / m³ = 4200 (w2 – w1) / 4.2 – w2
w1 = Initial mud weight in specific gravity
w2 = Desired mud weight in specific gravity
Appearance: Tan powder
Specific Gravity: 4.2

AMC CLAY COAT XTRA™ is a glycol designed for use in water-based drilling fluids to improve lubricity and shale stability. AMC CLAY COAT XTRA™ is not affected by medium to high salinity make up water.
AMC CLAY DOCTOR L™ is a versatile modified encapsulating polymer used in water based drilling fluid systems to provide stability when encountering reactive clay and shale formations. AMC CLAY DOCTOR L™’s charge density and molecular weight are uniquely adjusted to maximise encapsulation with only a minimal increase in viscosity.
AMC BENTONITE PELLETS™ are a highly compressed pellet made from premium sodium bentonite. AMC BENTONITE PELLETS™ has the advantage of achieving greater depths due to the highly compressive nature of the pellet.
